Rosie the Dollie {and a tutorial for you!}

This weekend I have been busily working on a little project!

Meet Rosie.

Rosie loves stargazing, eating gummi bears and reading books at the bookstore.

Of course Graham had to join our photoshoot. Silly cat.

Rosie has the cutest painted socks and maryjanes.

Be sure to say hi next time you see her! :)

In other news, I have been loving buntings. You know, those triangular banners? CUTE! So while little Dolly's shoes were drying, I made this mini bunting.

What? You mean you want to know how I made it? Oh, it's suuuuuuuuuper easy!

Find some colored paper you like. Construction paper, magazine pages, newspaper, old book pages, scrapbook paper... the possiblities are endless!

Cut that paper into lots of little diamonds like so.

 Add a droplet of glue to the center and grab your favorite color of embroidery thread. (Or string or twine or something! :)  Glue the thread in the middle and fold over. Very good!

String on as many flags as you want! You could make it stretch to the moon, or just across the living room... :)

Attach it with cute tape to the wall, the door, your mirror... Surprise a birthday girl by totally covering her house in mini buntings.... I dunno, get creative! ;)

Well, that's all for now over at the Pink House. Talk to you soon!

 ♥ McKayla

ps - should I sell cute dolls like Rosie in my etsy shop? Hmmm.
