blueberries

Today is a beautiful day.

I went outside to take some jumping pictures, and lo and behold.

Blueberries.

So many berries.  I picked some for our french toast.

Some were still green. "Don't worry, you'll be blue-r and sweeter than all of them with just a little time"

Graham was there too, of course. She brushed along my legs and said hello. But then she was off again.

So I was picking berries, finding the bluest, when I looked up to an orange tomcat on the old chicken coop roof behind the fence. He didn't notice me.

A plane flew over our heads.

Suddenly there was hissing.

Maggie got into it too, scratching at the fence. The neighbors' deep-voiced dog half bark-growled.

Shoo, I hissed at the cats. Graham leaped to the ground, Maggie running after her, and the tomcat was gone.

that is what i did today.
