What a sunshiny Monday. It is Monday, right? I lost track awhile ago, maybe spending too much time in the Gypsy Tent and all. But I suppose I should start at the beginning. (And when I come to the end, I will stop.)
;)
It was a morning much like this one, sunny and bright, everything happy and aglow (Yesterday, if I recall correctly) when I decided I needed a tent. No, not a tent. A gypsy tent. A place to doze off or write or read or be lazy.
So construction began.
Built up with bedsheets, held up with garden stakes and held together with clothespins... My Gypsy Tent.
It was lovely. The breeze billowed the sheets, inflating them as sails, so I set sail for wherever the wind led us.
When the sun set, the lanterns and candles were lit, illuminating the gypsy tent. We could be seen for miles, bobbing our way through the sea of grass, reading stories until midnight.
When morning came, bright as the day before, I shook out the welcome mat and started another lazy day in the Gypsy Tent.
- looks like someone left a basket of treats at the door! But we'll save that for tomorrow... ;)
